With August behind us it’s time to look forward to September and new opportunities. Before we do that let’s take a look back at what August brought.
August was a rather quiet month on Runescape. Our first article was on the new quest Fur ‘n’ Seek which is the sequel to the Rag and Boneman quest. Next up was the Menagerie. The Menagerie allows you to store all of your pets in your house which of course frees up valuable bank space. These were the only two headlining Runescape updates in August, we can only hope that September will be more lively.
Our other Runescape based articles for August consisted of a variety of topics from all areas of the spectrum. The first article was a decoding of Mod MMG’s Q&A by Jason. Kirby chimed in with a comparison of today’s Runescape with that of Runescape 5 years ago. Finally Tim released Part 2 of his Mobilising Armies Tricks of the Trade.
Tech articles this past month were in no way boring. Paul discussed ways to hide and obscure data you may not want others seeing. The ongoing saga of Apple, AT&T, and Google was examined as well and asked the question “Is the iPhone worthy of an anti-trust case?” Kenny reviewed Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood.
Before I wrap up on Informer news you may have guessed I was alluding to some new positions on RSBANDBInformer!, that is correct. We are adding the positions of Economy Specialist and PvP Specialist. You can find details on the positions and how to apply in this forum topic. Applications close on September 15, 2009 at 11:59pm RSBandB Time/UTC-6.
Our Strength Skill of The Month (SKOTM) has wrapped up with The Killer taking victory by gaining 9,768,157 experience. Overall 38,565,610 experience was gained by all participants. Congrats to all involved for the superb effort.
