The economy in general seems to have slumped this month, with every single item bar one (prayer potions) in our list dropping in price, in the case of the party hats, in a substantial amount. There seems to be no particular reason for this, no updates have been released that would directly affect the economy (with perhaps the slight exception of the moon clan quest, with the new astral rune that can be crafted) but even that has done nothing spectacular to the price of essence, the only thing we can assume is that this price drop is merely a backlash from the release of the construction skill. It seems the only plausible explanation as no other significant events have taken place this month that might have a direct effect on rare prices.

So perhaps Jagex’s plan did work, the construction skill may slowly be starting to eat it’s way into the economy, if the same losses continue into next month, rare owners may well be fearful of what is to come maybe the market itself might totally crash. It seems to be going that way unless things pick up.

All of the phats have dropped in price, Both blue and white phats have by around 100m.
Mask sets are down around 10m to 70-80m. Pure Ess has dropped by around 10gp, not that much but it shows all round that prices are on the decline.
