Hello everyone, I’m back with yet another article. This article is going to be talking about some of the Abandoned floor bosses. I’m going to start off with the Skeletal Horde because you can go through the whole boss fight without the need for any food.

The Skeletal Horde, like I’m sure I’ve said before in other articles, is one of the easiest bosses you could get because of how easy it can be. When you get to the boss room you’ll see a Skinweaver familiar standing on what looks like a rug in the corner. To start the boss fight, you need to talk to the Divine Skinweaver. You can go in and out before you talk to her, but after you talk to her its boss fighting time. You will be fighting skeletons during the fight, so switch your weapon to the crush attack style. Melee skeletons, ranging skeletons and mage skeletons will be coming out of 5 holes that are located around the room. Your goal is to plug those holes, but only when the Divine Skinweaver tells you they can be closed. You can’t just camp out and wait for the Divine Skinweaver to tell you that you can plug the holes; you need to kill some of the skeletons to get her to say anything. Just keep on fighting and if you need any healing, you can just run over to the skin weaver and she will heal you, just a normal Skinweaver familiar would do. After you plug all of the holes and kill all of the skeletons in the room, talk to the Divine Skinweaver and you’ll get some tier of Helmet. This boss battle should take more than a couple of minutes to finish off and even though the reward isn’t the best reward (because most high level Dungoneers have a Shadow Silk Hood) at least the boss battle is easy.

Now for most bosses, you’ll use prayers to lessen the damage you take from a boss. For the Hobgoblin Geomancer, might as well hide your prayers (unless you are fighting the level 621 Hobgoblin Geomancer, then you need to pray to not get hit 400+) because he will turn off your prayer and heal some health. Having a weapon with a stab attack and a bow and arrows will really make this right faster. He attacks with magic from far away and melee when up close. He will also bind one person on your team and teleport away. This is a very simple boss but can be annoying at time. If you are the prayer person then use protect/deflect magic and if you are on curses then use cap/leech defence so when you attack with a stab weapon, you’ll be doing a lot of damage. The Hobgoblin Geomancer will drop some tier of Leather Boots so if you are a ranger that looks to have good footwear, then you’ll want to get the Hobgoblin Geomancer so you can get some Sagittarian boots.

Pickaxes are normally used for mining ore but you can now add another function to the pickaxe, destroying the Bulwark Beasts armour so you can actually kill him. This boss attacks with magic and ranged but to take the least amount of damage, pray protect/deflect Ranged. Like I sad above, you will need to use a pickaxe to break his armour. Use crush when taking down his armour, then crush again once his armour is done. It is a simple boss but has some attacks you’ve seen before. His magic attack is like the Kalphite queens multiple person attack and the TzTok-Jad ranged attack where he bring the ceiling of the room down on a player (it cannot be avoided by running around). If you have a high magic level then you might want to consider maging the Bulwark Beast. Using any combat magic spell will bypass his armour and do damage to the beast. It will also damage his armour so you will be of some help if you can’t find a pickaxe (which shouldn’t happen, there is one in one of the corners). The Bulwark beast drops Pickaxes and Hatchets (only boss that has 2 different primal drops) so unless you’re a skiller, you’ll want to get this boss done as fast as possible so you can get to the next floor and hopefully get a different boss.
